Hollyoaks' Nadira Valli faces a shock accusation in Rayne story

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Monday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Tuesday.

Hollyoaks tonight continued the Rayne murder saga as Nadira Valli faced a shocking accusation as the aftermath of Rayne's death continues to play out.

Early on in the episode, Nadira and Romeo discussed Brent being in prison, but Phoenix revealed that a voicemail he accidentally left on Juliet’s phone cleared his and Brent’s name. Romeo said that Brent deserved prison time anyway, but Phoenix explained that he’d told the police about the information.

Later, Nadira and Peri prepared for Raynefest but Nadira admitted she was concerned about Romeo’s behaviour and was beginning to suspect him of murdering Rayne. Then, while shopping for decorations for Raynefest, Nadira and Romeo bumped into the newly-released Brent.

Brent and Romeo argued about Brent’s suspicions of the legal advice that Romeo’s dad, James, gave him. Brent then accused Romeo of murdering Rayne before the confrontation was split up by James himself.

Father and son then had a serious conversation, with James concerned that public opinion was starting to turn on Romeo, particularly after his angry outburst at Brent.

Romeo asked his dad if he had Brent beaten up, but James skirted the question and instructed that they needed to find another scapegoat to stop Romeo from being sent to jail. Unbeknown to them, however, Nadira listened in to their conversation. She then reported back to Peri what she’d heard – Peri didn’t believe her.

The group then discussed memorial plans but Nadira confronted Romeo about what she’d heard. Romeo defended himself and promised he had no intention of carrying out the plan.

Their argument was interrupted, however, when Phoenix revealed that one of Rayne’s followers had released incriminating, threatening texts that Nadira had sent to Rayne. One of the texts read: “You will regret it!”

The group then turned on Nadira and accused her of murdering Rayne.
