Hollyoaks' Rayne Royce reveals shock health news before Juliet's funeral

Rayne Royce revealed some shocking health news on Hollyoaks, with the admission coming right before Juliet Nightingale's funeral.
The social media influencer has been struggling with feelings of jealousy after her boyfriend Romeo and Peri grew closer; with Romeo going as far as kissing Peri.
Tonight's (July 3) first-look episode began with the trio awkwardly meeting in the living room after Romeo and Peri fell asleep on the sofa, with the final preparations for Juliet's funeral coming into place.

Romeo was later horrified to learn that James had planned a far more traditional ceremony than he and Peri had, with the pair subsequently arguing about what Juliet would have wanted.
The change of plans for the funeral affected Peri, who was adamant that she wanted to honour Juliet in her own way – by wearing the bright yellow dress that she wore on the night they confessed their love for each other.
Romeo later confronted Rayne about her posts about Juliet, accusing her of using her memory to further her brand. The conversation got even more heated after Rayne outlined her plans to livestream the eulogy.
Romeo expressed doubts about the couple's compatibility, saying he felt as if his life was being lived out in public, before storming out after telling Rayne it would be better if she didn't attend the funeral.

After Peri said a tearful goodbye whilst Juliet's coffin was in the hearse, she had an argument with James, as they each wanted to honour Juliet in their own way. Peri stormed off and said she wouldn't attend, eventually confessing to a similarly minded Romeo that rage was overcoming any feelings of grief.
As the pair made their way back to the centre of the village, Rayne watched them before leaving a voicemail for her boyfriend declaring she had some urgent news to share.
Rayne told Romeo that she received a text from her GP informing her that they had found a lump on Rayne's body. Given her loose relationship with the truth in the past and her growing jealousy, is this another one of Rayne's games?...
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
