Hollyoaks reveals the truth over 'intruder' at The Dog

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has revealed the truth about the 'intruder' who has been terrorising Tony Hutchinson and vandalising The Dog.

For the past few days, Tony had been worried sick about Diane following Eric’s recent siege on the village, with several residents remarking that he was paranoid.

His worries were perhaps justified, however, with the family’s car being broken into and Beau waking up to see The Dog had been vandalised at the beginning of tonight’s (March 27) episode.

Tony was left terrified at the prospect of Eric still maintaining an influence in the village, though Beau and Diane attempted to ease his worries by admitting they didn’t yet know the facts.

Detective Zoe Anderson responded to the scene, and revealed that there were no signs of forced entry, with her supporting officer disclosing that the back door was left open. Tony admitted that he had been struggling to sleep, and Zoe offered him advice by encouraging him to rest up.

As Beau checked the CCTV, he spotted something that he subsequently hid from both his family and the detective, while Diane opted to stay round Scott’s with the children for their own safety.

With both Tony and Beau still residing at the pub, Beau once again observed the hooded figure downstairs and subsequently followed him to his car.

With the shock revelation, has Tony been inadvertently behind the break-ins all this time, or was this a one-off?

Elsewhere in the episode, Cindy attempted to secure funds to repair her trashed market, enlisting the help of Zara and Grace as she tried to sweet-talk her banker into offering her a loan.

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
