Hollyoaks star Lily Best hints at dark side to Dave Chen-Williams

Hollyoaks' Lily Best has dropped a bombshell about Dominic Power's Dave Chen-Williams.
Next week, Dave is faced with the dark truth over Maya Harkwell's death, in that his half-brother Ethan had some involvement, but in a move of self-preservation, Ethan threatens to share Dave's "secret" if he goes to the police.
Now, the Lizzie Chen-Williams actress has warned Inside Soap of the storm ahead.

"It will be really interesting to challenge what people think of Dave, this lovely man who'd do anything for his family. Once we find out more, will that perception change?
"When the Chen-Williams family came in we were a really tight-knit, happy-go-lucky family. It will be intriguing when the cracks start showing, and you can see what makes them the way they are," continued Best.
"There is some exciting stuff coming up!"

In the same interview, the young soap star revealed how her experience with a spiked drink (due to incel Eric Foster) will bring long-term effects.
"Initially [Lizzie] is defiant and wants to prove this won't stop her living her life, but we do see the long-lasting effects of this trauma.
"She's been violated in such a disgusting way and I think it's good to show it's okay to have a wobble as you try to bounce back from something like this, even for the strongest of people. Twinkles of Lizzie start coming back, which is nice, but there is definite anxiety and PTSD when she goes back to the Love Boat, which she finds quite triggering," she said.
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
