Hollyoaks star Richard Blackwood has announced a new project away from the soap.
The actor, who has been playing Felix Westwood since 2020, has announced that he's heading out on the road for a tour. But not for a play, and not for music, but for comedy.
"It's going down people! My first Stand up tour in 23 years!" he wrote on Instagram alongside a poster with the tour dates. "Get your tickets and enjoy… I'm actually quite funny!! Godbless."

The tour will start next Sunday (February 4) in Manchester, and travels across the UK on most weekends across February and March. Tickets for the hour-long show start at £18 and are available here.
Does this new project mean that Blackwood is leaving Hollyoaks? With Felix confirmed to involved a big life-or-death situation next week as Warren Fox seeks misguided revenge, you might think it's pretty set in stone.
However, the show's bosses are keeping tight-lipped on whether Felix will survive the events of the upcoming episodes or not, so you're just going to have to tune in and find out.

Although Felix and Warren are often at each others' throats, Blackwood and Jamie Lomas are really good buddies in real-life, which makes filming difficult at times.
"When we're saying the horrible lines to each other, we actually hate saying the lines because we get along so well," Blackwood explained last year.
"But that kind of helps with the scene as well because anytime there is a rivalry between us two, we also have to play the truth that they genuinely love each other as brothers so they are always torn between wrong to the other person."
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
