Hollyoaks' Tony Hutchinson to get a shock in Ella paternity story

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks will deliver a shock to Tony Hutchinson over teen Ella Richardson's paternity.

There has been a mystery over Ella's father ever since she returned with mum Mandy to the village in 2017 — but with Mandy having left, Ella is more determined than ever to discover her dad's identity.

In upcoming scenes, Charlie makes his displeasure known when his former girlfriend Ella shares that she has started searching for clues about her paternity.

Darren Osborne steps in to offer a helping hand by suggesting Ella go see if Tony has any ideas since he was married to her mum. Viewers will remember that Mandy and Tony lost a daughter, Grace, to SIDS during their marriage.

Ella starts to question whether Tony might actually be her father, yet Charlie dismisses this and insists she needs actual evidence before she speaks with Tony.

The teen tries to get some information from Beau, though she panics and announces that she's Beau's sister! Beau is understandably stunned, but urges Ella to look for more evidence before concluding Tony is her dad.

Tony happens to overhear some of the conversation and faced with another dilemma, Ella decides to come clean about her suspicions that Tony may be her biological father.

The Dog owner is quite perplexed by Ella's theory until he finds a long-lost letter from Mandy where she confided in him that Ella had been born.

Tony only recently learned that Beau is his son — and was conceived during a fling with Beau's mum Sarah Ramsey during a brief fling in Ibiza in 1996.

How will Tony handle the possibility that he may have another long-lost child?
