Hollyoaks' Peri and Shaq share Christmas kiss

Peri and Shaq have shared a festive kiss in Hollyoaks.
Last week, Nadira and Peri discovered that Juliet had lied to them both by revealing she'd got back with the other in order to keep a secret.
They had no idea that Juliet was actually trying to stop both of her former partners from finding out that she had started chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
In Monday's (December 19) first-look episode, Peri was determined to get to the bottom of why Juliet was lying to them both.

When they confronted her, Juliet lied once again by saying she'd had a one-night-stand and had gone to the sexual health clinic to get a check-up.
"I lied so you'd back off. Maybe take a hint," she tearfully shot back.
Peri was brooding in the village when Shaq proved to be a surprising comfort, as he admitted he was still hurting over losing Verity. Peri invited him to come to her place for dinner because she knows "how tough that lonely feeling" can be.
Juliet was still struggling with her diagnosis when she finally opened up to Warren Fox, who was facing a terminal diagnosis himself due to liver damage.
When Juliet explained that she didn't want her family to know about her cancer, Warren tried to make her understand that pushing her family away wasn't going to do any good.

"If you want to be soft, be my guest," Juliet sneered before walking away.
Peri made one more attempt to try to win back Juliet, but Juliet lied to her face by insisting she didn't love her anymore.
"Have a nice life," a heartbroken Peri told her before crashing out of the flat.
Peri went off to tell Shaq that she felt like "an idiot" for making a romantic gesture. As they comforted one another, the moment took hold and they shared a romantic kiss, with a post-credits scene showing them kissing again as Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas' played in the background.
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
