Hollywood stars Jamie Foxx, Wilmer Valderrama ring in the new year at LAVO Singapore
It was a star-studded night at Marina Bay Sands on New Year’s Eve as Hollywood stars Jamie Foxx and Wilmer Valderrama welcomed 2018 at LAVO Singapore, a newly-opened Italian restaurant and rooftop bar.
Foxx, who just turned 50 on 13 December, hosted a New Year’s Eve party at the venue ahead of its official opening on 8 January. The actor, singer and producer performed a medley of songs, including hits Gold Digger and Blame It.
While Foxx didn’t ring in the new year with girlfriend and actress Katie Holmes, he had his 23-year-old daughter Corinne Foxx by his side to share the memorable moment.
His daughter arrived in a shimmering party dress and strappy white sandals. On Instagram (@corinnefoxx), she posted a photo of herself in a pink bikini taking a dip in Marina Bay Sands’ infinity pool.
Wilmer Valderrama, who is known for acting in the popular American TV series “That ‘70s Show” also graced the occasion. The 37-year-old actor and former boyfriend of singer Demi Lovato shared on his Instagram (@wilmervalderrama) that it was his first visit to Singapore, and thanked Jason Strauss and Noah Tepperberg, the co-founders of the TAO Group, for the opportunity.
TAO Group is an entertainment, dining and nightlife group from America with venues in New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Sydney. Its latest venture in Singapore is a collaboration with Marina Bay Sands.
