Home and Away aired exit scenes for Andrew Lawrence in Tuesday's Australian episode (July 11).

The popular young character bowed out from Summer Bay to start a new life with his sister Tegan.

Recent episodes on Channel 7 in Australia have seen Andrew settle back into life in the Bay after his tough ordeal at the Vita Nova cult compound.

Andrew was then left with a dilemma when his sibling Tegan arrived and invited him to come and live with her.

The troubled teenager initially told Tegan that he'd prefer to continue living with Justin Morgan and Leah Patterson, who'd kindly taken him in following the death of his father.

However, in a heart-to-heart with Leah's nephew Theo Poulos, Andrew admitted that he secretly wanted to live with his sister after all. His reluctance to confirm this was only because he feared upsetting Justin and Leah.

When Tegan looked set to leave the Bay without ever finding out what Andrew really wanted, Theo intervened by tipping off Justin.

Justin then gave Andrew his blessing to leave with Tegan and do what's right for him.

In heartfelt scenes, Andrew reflected on how he first reached out for help from Justin by sending him a note while he was doing community service.

Andrew said: "Thank you for reading my note. You've changed my life."

Justin replied: "You changed mine, too – for the better, mate."

Andrew made his first appearance on Australian screens in April and quickly became a hit with fans, who have tipped young actor Joshua Hewson as a rising star.

UK viewers have a few more weeks left of the storyline, as Channel 5's episodes are nearly two months behind.
