Home and Away's Jimmy Stewart heaps praise on new co-star

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-pace episodes, which UK readers may wish to avoid for now.

Home and Away star James Stewart has heaped praised upon his co-star Joshua Hewson as a new storyline unfolds on screen.

Justin Morgan recently welcomed troubled teen Andrew into his home, and later discovered him passed out from malnourishment. Andrew has refused to explain what is going on, but this week's episodes are going to delve into his traumatic past and explain how he ended up where he is now.

Stewart shared two photos of himself, Hewson and Theo Poulos actor Matt Evans hanging out on set to his Instagram page, with the trio pulling silly faces in one of them.

"Are you havin a laugh?! Is he havin a laugh?!!" he wrote. "This is Josh Hewson.. @theofficialjoshuahewson this kid is a natural man!

"I’m so stoked he’s come onto our show. He’s funny as.. bright.. cool to hang out with and is definitely goin places! Keep an eye out for this guy! @homeandaway."

Other Australian pace storylines playing around this week include Marilyn Chambers and her legal wrangle with cosmetics company Stunning Organics, Tane Parata's cousin Kahu continuing to cause trouble and Rose Delaney and Mali Hudson having an important conversation about their relationship.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.

In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7plus.
