Home and Away's Mac rejected after passion with Kahu

Home and Away's Mackenzie Booth will face rejection on UK screens next week, after she unexpectedly gets passionate with Summer Bay newcomer Kahu Parata.
Mackenzie is currently grieving after receiving the devastating news earlier this month that her former partner Gabe Miller had passed away, only a couple of months after he found out that his cancer had returned.
Since losing Gabe, Mac has been trying to keep herself busy and Tane's newly arrived cousin, Kahu, proves to be the perfect distraction in upcoming scenes to air on Channel 5.

After developing a soft spot for Kahu and his relentless optimism, Mac agrees to help him put together a business plan.
But it turns out that Kahu is planning for more than a business. After Mac advises him to take a risk, Kahu decides to make a romantic move on her — despite Tane warning him to be careful, as Mac is still very much grieving for Gabe.
As things heat up between Mac and Kahu, they sneak away into the store room at Salt...
While the pair are enjoying an afternoon of passion, a concerned Tane searches for Kahu. Mac asks for Kahu to be discreet, adamant that their fling should be nothing more than a one-off.

She later evades questions from a prying Felicity Newman, while Tane takes another opportunity to warn Kahu not to mess vulnerable Mac around.
Irritated at their interference, Mac snaps at Felicity and then her housemate Mali Hudson when they start asking questions about her fling.
Mac later tries to smooth things over with Mali, but she's soon left reeling when Kahu rejects her suggestion that they hook up again, explaining that he has been warned off her while she's still grieving.

Wrongly assuming that it was Mali who warned Kahu off her, Mac rages at him. Tane and Felicity worry for Mac after her outburst, while Mali is furious that Mac would publicly call him out for something that he hasn't even done.
After realising her mistake, Mac extends an olive branch to Mali and the housemates' relationship is restored.
Later on, Tane and Felicity confess to Mac that it was actually them who spoke to Kahu, purely out of concern for her wellbeing. Felicity insists that Mac should take some time off work to grieve properly... but will Mac listen?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
