House near Kharkiv struck by Russian glide bomb, one injured
Russia attacked Kharkiv and the oblast with aerial glide bombs, local authorities reported on May 4.
"The Russians launched glide bombs on the village of Cherkaski Tyshky in the Kharkivskyi district of the Oblast, striking a house and injuring a 74-year-old resident, who was subsequently hospitalized," said the regional governor, Oleh Synehubov.
Russian forces also shelled the village of Odnorobivka with artillery, damaging two two-story apartment buildings and one house in five strikes, with no casualties.

Explosions rocked Kharkiv as Russia launched an attack on the city, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported. He warned of potential launches of glide bombs.
"A severe fire broke out at an industrial facility in the industrial district following a direct hit," he said.
"We are currently working to gather more information about those who were injured."

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a threat of ballistic weapon use.
The Russians launched attacks on Ukraine using drones and missiles overnight on May 4. Despite air defense forces shooting down all drones, a critical infrastructure facility in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast sustained damage, resulting in injuries to two people.
Russia's attack also sparked three simultaneous fires in Kharkiv at various locations, which took over 5 hours to extinguish. Four people, including one child, were injured.
