Hundreds of migrants trapped in detention centres in Libyan capital after clashes

TUNIS (Reuters) - Several hundred migrants have been trapped in government-run detention centres in the Libyan capital after guards fled from clashes between rival armed groups in the past few days, aid workers said on Wednesday.

Some 400 people had been abandoned without food in the Ain Zara detention centre run by the U.N.-backed government, one aid worker said, asking not to be named.
