This Illustrator Turned Beyoncé's "Lemonade" Into a Coloring Book and OMG

From Cosmopolitan

Like most humans, Paris-based illustrator Jessie Kanelos Weiner was ridiculously inspired by Beyoncé's new visual album, Lemonade. But unlike most people, Jessie took that inspiration to the next level - and decided to turn some of the most iconic images from the film into a gorgeous set of coloring book pages.

"I am always on the lookout for engaging topics for coloring pages," Jessie told Cosmopolitan.com. "Since I'm a big Beyoncé fan, after I listened to Lemonade on repeat for 24 hours, I envisioned the horizontal narrative of the album as a mini coloring book."

The result is an absolutely stunning collection of Bey-inspired illustrations, each page as intricate and stunning as the last.

"I love how the visual album was created, creating a completely different narrative from the album on its own," she continued. "It is rich with emotional details, which is something I wanted to emulate in my coloring series."

Of course, this isn't Jessie's first foray into coloring books: Earlier this year, she published Edible Paradise: An Adult Coloring Book of Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables, and it's obvious she's already an expert in the medium. Jessie totally captures the spirit of Lemonade with these coloring book pages, and definitely does the Queen Bee proud.
