I'm a Celebrity star Paul Burrell has claimed that co-star Janice Dickinson has quit the cast's WhatsApp group.

The former royal butler was the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the series last night (May 11). He's now suggested that there have been tensions within the group and that Janice has been shunned.

“We have an I'm a Celebrity Legends WhatsApp group. And we all talk to each other as each night unfolds and we all say, 'Wow, I didn't know that happened,'" Burrell told The Sun.

"Now we're watching it all, like the trials we didn't see, and we're seeing the context of everything. We're constantly texting each other saying, 'Oh you did that. Wow.'"

Speaking further about his own "rumbles", Paul elaborated: “I do have to have a rumble with Janice." He added that he felt Janice "threw [him] under the bus with the coffee."

"I had been giving her a nice cup of Butler's Roast by the fire every morning. [She was] sipping it very slowly and looking at me and winking," Paul said. "But when it came to the point of shame, Janice sat there in silence."

He went on to claim: "She never said a word. When it was about saving herself she had plenty to say. Janice was rude to everybody, she doesn’t pull any punches."

However, Paul did admit that he "loved being in the jungle, it was magical and [he is] so thankful".

"I met the most incredible bunch of people. Although there were little niggles along the way, that is human nature," he shared.

Digital Spy has reached out to Janice's representatives regarding the claims.

Janice withdrew from I'm a Celebrity last week after sustaining an injury. The supermodel said at the time: "I could have been the one to be second runner-up or even win this series because I was just so steadfast and physiological with it.

"I was just waiting and biding my time with it all. I did my fair share in standing up, falling down. Getting my face in the dirt.

"I felt like they could have possibly cleaned my wounds and set me back on my path in there. But Production made the right decision, in the end, to not send me back in. I'm just sad it ended that way. I think I could have gone back in and gone on further."

I'm a Celebrity… South Africa airs on Mondays-Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
