Yahoo Life: What is the one sport, fitness or wellness trend you love?
I love sports and all things fitness related, but one thing I find myself always going back to is dance. I used to be a dancer and do a wide range of dances. I love expressing myself in different ways and exposing myself to different music genres through dancing.
What are its benefits, and what do you love about it?
Dancing is a great workout on its own, and I get to have fun at the same time. While I stopped doing it competitively now, I can easily incorporate dance into my life and work.
How often do you indulge in it, and with whom?
I don't do it as often as I would like with my busy schedule. So I compensate by dancing at home. Sometimes I pretend to be a Zumba instructor and give "classes" to my friends when we work out together at the gym.
Was there any point you wanted to give up?
I have never thought of giving up. I took my time to learn the sequences, and I also became a faster learner with practice. Most importantly it is to have fun during the learning process!
What gears/tools do you need for the sport?
I usually wear my Adidas UltraBOOST shoes and any Adidas Originals sweatpants. I love them because they come in so many colours and styles, and I can express myself creatively in my outfits while dancing.
Share with us one thing you learnt from this sport or what you wish others to discover about it.
Dance is so creative and free. Even if you "don't know" how to dance, there's never one right way to do it, and it just brings everyone together.
As a public figure, how do you inject positivity into your followers?
I like to share good and positive quotes that bring positivity and hope to our lives on my page.
