Importer recalls King’s potong ice cream after metal nut found: AVA

A Singapore importer has voluntarily recalled some “King’s Ice Confection” products made in Malaysia after a member of the public found a metal nut in a bar of “King’s Potong Red Bean Ice Confection”.

The discovery was reported to the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) on 18 August.

The products being recalled have expiry dates before 22 July 2018. Consumers who have purchased the following products are advised not to consume them.

They are:

King’s Potong Red Bean Ice Confection (Multipack and single)

King’s Potong Black Glutinous Rice/Yam (Multipack)

King’s Potong Durian (Multipack)

King’s Potong Red Bean & Cempedak (Multipack)

King’s Potong Teh Tarik (Multipack)

King’s Potong Black Glutinous Rice (Single)

King’s Fruity Lime (Multipack)
