AJ Odudu and Will Best say they’ve been getting tips from previous Big Brother hosts Davina McCall and Emma Willis ahead of the rebooted show returning to screens this month.

The new series will kick off at 9pm on Sunday, October 8, on ITV fronted by Odudu and Best, who admit to both having “butterflies” in the lead-up.

It has been five years since the iconic reality TV series last aired and luckily, they have had some well-placed people to turn to for advice.

“Everyone’s been so supportive and even Emma Willis and Davina McCall have congratulated us and offered some great advice,” explained former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Odudu.

“We’ve had loads of lovely messages!” agreed Best. “People have been so supportive and positive.

“The best thing though has been how many messages we’ve had from people in the industry just saying how excited they are that the show is coming back, it reminds you how universally loved it is. BB fans are everywhere!”

Odudu and Best previously worked together on 4Music’s Trending Live and are excited to be teaming up once again.

“It feels amazing to be working together,” said Best.

“I’m so lucky to work with Will,” agreed Odudu.

Adding: “He’s funny, he’s supportive and the fact that we get to share this experience together makes it so much more exciting than it already is.”

Big Brother: The Launch airs Sunday at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX
