Insane Clown Posse's Violent J goes on scathing rant against wrestler CM Punk… for not shaking hands?

That’s a whole lot of expletives over… a slight of hand.

Violent J is unhappy with wrestler and Heels actor CM Punk — and nobody is entirely sure why.

The Insane Clown Posse rapper posted an explicit, rambling rant directed toward the MMA fighter on social media Monday. J said his fury stems from an alleged slight at a Total Nonstop Action (TNA) event wherein CM Punk neglected to shake the musician’s hand. “F--- CM Punk for life,” he wrote. “You wouldn't shake our hands in TNA lil bitch.”

The rapper called out CM Punk for saying that fellow wrestler Colt Cabana shared a bank account with his mother during a previous legal dispute between the two fighters. “You clown on the only real friend you ever had in Colt Cabana you bitch,” J wrote. (In 2022, Punk said, “When I finally had to counter-sue [Cabana] through Discovery, he shared a bank account with his mother. That’s a fact. And as soon as we discovered that fact and we subpoenaed old Marcia [Colt Cabana’s mother], he sent the email ‘oh can we please drop all this.’”)

J insisted that this system isn’t out of the ordinary. “I Shared my bank account with my mom before she passed you little insensitive bitch,” he wrote. “You little heartless alien. Suck my d--- you little weak bitch couldn't beat a jobber in UFC you f---in nearly pathetic little joke.” (One wonders what it would take for an enemy to be fully pathetic, and not merely nearly pathetic, in the eyes of the ICP member.)

Reps for CM Punk did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment.

Violent J’s involvement in wrestling goes back even farther than his musical career — he began backyard wrestling in the early 1980s, competed intermittently on the independent circuit during the 1990s, and eventually founded his own wrestling promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, in 1999. Most recently, he began managing the the Brothers of Funstruction tag team in Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance. (Yes, Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan). He also appeared on MLW's Battle Riot VI earlier this month.

The rant grew more puzzling and inscrutable as it progressed. “Come beat me up bitch,” he offered. “You suffer inside everyone, and they momma knows that.” (This sentence makes a bit more sense if the comma moves over one word, reading “You suffer inside, everyone and they momma knows that;” but, who are we to assume that’s what Violent J means?) “Get your head right you little suffering ass bitch.”

J signed off with a bang, insisting that he’s of equal relevance to the wrestler. “VJ of Insane Clown Posse- just as legendary as you lil bitch,” he concluded. “Face it.”

Social media users failed to fully comprehend the cause of Violent J’s tirade, speculating that there might be more to the rapper’s dissatisfaction than just a spurned handshake.
