Introducing Cliq, the slick magnetic clothes hanger
The humble clothes hanger has been completely transformed with the introduction of ‘Cliq', a hook-less contraption which relies on earth magnets to store garments.
The slick invention can hold two kilograms in weight, making it perfect for hanging anything from summer T-shirts to winter coats. The hangers can be used on any standard metallic clothes rail or surface.
Additionally, hidden magnets create equal gaps between clothes, ensuring that wardrobes or shop rails always look neat. The birch hangers come in three colors -- natural, black and white.
The brainchild of Georg Dwalischwili and Janis Karklins of the German-Latvian creative agency Flow Design, Cliq could save up to an estimated 6 cm of vertical space -- a definite advantage for today's city-dwellers, who find themselves increasingly pressed for space.
Cliq is now available for pre-order, with shipping expected to begin in May 2014. Prices start from €149 ($207) for three.
