Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella Strahan has no problem making light jokes about her health journey since she was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

On May 30, the 19-year-old model posted a TikTok video using the popular audio of Salma Hayek’s interview from the Time 100 Gala in April 2023.

“What’s the most expensive thing you’re wearing? Probably my brain,” the audio said as Isabella included a teary eyed photo of her in the hospital after surgery with her head wrapped in bandages.

“This photo gets me every time,” she captioned the post, teasing in the comments, “I like to be the most expensive child obviously.”

Several fans in the comments told Isabella that she “won” the popular trend while sending her well wishes as she continues her treatment for the brain tumor.

In April, Isabella shared in her Youtube series that she had her third craniotomy, just a month after her second. She admitted that the pain was difficult to manage.

“It’s not as bad as the first time but I’m really in pain. They do give me pain medicine…they don’t work that well on me. So I’m in a lot of pain,” she said, before bursting into tears. “My head really really hurts right now. Not gonna lie, I’ve been crying a lot. I’m in a lot of pain. It’s not as bad as last time… my face isn’t as puffy but it literally hurts to do anything.”

Isabella added that she can barely move without pain because she has two IVs, a picc line, and her chemotherapy port, which all allow doctors to administer her medications.

“I havent really eaten much in the past three or four days, kind of nothing. It’s really bad but I just can’t really eat and I’m also not hungry,” she continued. “There’s ups and downs to this because I was eating so much a week ago and now I can’t eat anything. I’m in a down right now.”

In addition to her three brain surgeries, Isabella has undergone radiation and three rounds of chemotherapy. She has one more round of chemo remaining and shared her excitement to be done with treatment in another vlog last week.

“I just want it to be June already,” she said. “That’s the thing, I just wait around for the next time I get chemo and I’m kind of scared once I’m done, how I’m gonna go back to normal life. Because I feel like there’s always gonna be another treatment or something I have to do. But that’s a later problem.”

“Otherwise, I’m doing good,” she added.
