After rapping, “I’m vanilla, baby,” on his latest track “Lovin on Me,” Jack Harlow is opening up about his true preferences in the bedroom.

The rapper, 25, appeared on the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper and revealed that he really doesn’t consider himself all that kinky. After admitting to the host that he felt like a “five” on a scale from one to 10 ranking the most vanilla to the kinkiest, he said that missionary was “typically” his favorite sex position.

When Cooper asked what he thought of “missionary sex,” the “First Class” artist instantly responded, “The best. As good as it gets."

While laughing, he added, “It’s that corner booth in sex form, ain’t it?”

The hip-hop star also had words for any naysayers who might think the position is too “vanilla.” Harlow said, “I know they think it is. That’s fine with me. That’s how we got going, though. That’s how the homoerectus was … That’s default. Let’s just face facts: It’s default.”

The hitmaker even went on to defend what it is about missionary specifically that he finds a turn on.

“We’ve been over-sexualized as a culture and motherf---ers don’t want to look each other in the eye anymore and put their nose on each other’s nose and put their tongue down each other’s throat while they’re getting stroked,” he shared. “Like, cmon. There’s nothing better. There’s nothing better! And everybody has their own preferences and that’s fine. It’s not objective, but it feels pretty close to objective.”

Harlow opened up about his sexual preferences shortly after releasing the single “Lovin on Me,” featuring lyrics about what he likes in the bedroom. On the track, he declares, “I'm vanilla, baby / I'll choke you, but I ain't no killer, baby,” and throughout runs a sample of Cadillac Dale’s 1995 song “Whatever,” including repetition of the verse, “I don't like no whips and chains and you can't tie me down / But you can whip your lovin' on me, baby.”

The Louisville, Kentucky artist has spoken openly about sex and relationships in the past, in both his explicit lyrics and in interviews.

In a 2022 Rolling Stone cover story, the “What’s Poppin” rapper spoke candidly about writing most of his bars about his sex life. “I am poetic, but I want some ass. You know what I’m saying?” he admitted. “I literally said that to a girl once. I was apologizing for my desires lightheartedly, like, ‘I’m a mammal. I’ve still got control over myself, but just the way a plant outside wants the sun, I have been engineered to want to reproduce.’”

Harlow, who has a reputation for his suave demeanor, was also among the stars featured in PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive issue in 2022 and revealed what he finds attractive himself.

"Sexy is just a magnetic pull," he shared. "Awareness is sexy. I find confidence and intelligence most sexy in a woman."
