Jackie and stars coming to Singapore

8 Dec – Ahead of the movie's release, action superstar Jackie Chan will be dropping by Singapore to promote his latest movie "Dragon Blade" in February next year.

From 9 to 11 February 2015, Jackie Chan and his "Dragon Blade" co-stars will be meeting their fans during the gala premiere in Singapore, the first stop for their Asian Tour.

The martial arts actor will be joined by the best of Hollywood, Korean and Chinese talents, namely Academy Awards' Best Actor Adrien Brody, "Being John Malkovich" actor John Cusack, Korean singer-actor Choi Siwon as well as Chinese actresses Lin Peng and Wang Ruo Xin.

"Dragon Blade", set in 48BC during the Han Dynasty, tells the story of a Chinese commander named Huo An accused of treason and forced to work as a slave labourer. Even though he has fallen from power, he is still able to win a battle with the help of his most loyal soldiers, earning him the respect of Roman general, Lucius. However, danger looms ahead as Roman emperor, Tiberius, is heading towards the Chinese border with his own stronger and bigger band of army.

Helmed by director Daniel Lee, Jackie Chan stars as Huo An, Choi as right hand man Yin Po, Cusack as General Lucius and Brody as Tiberius.

"Dragon Blade" will be released on the first day of Chinese New Year, 19 February 2015.
