SINGAPORE — Good news for those Jacky Cheung fans who missed out on tickets for his nine-night stand at the Singapore Indoor Stadium: the "God of Songs" is adding two more nights.

The Hong Kong superstar announced in a media release on Tuesday (27 June) that he will be adding two final shows on 3 and 4 August for his ongoing "Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour", to go along with his nine previously-announced dates at the Indoor Stadium (14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30 July).

Cheung had sold out all 72,000 tickets of the nine shows on 3 May. The first six shows were announced first, and were sold out within four hours. Cheung subsequently added three more nights, and they too were sold out in three hours.

Concert promoter Unusual Entertainment said that, with the additional two shows, Cheung's 11-night run at the Indoor Stadium is the most number of shows by a music artiste in a single leg of a concert tour in Singapore.

In recent weeks, English rock band Coldplay and American pop superstar Taylor Swift have announced six-night concert stands in Singapore, although the two acts will be performing at the much larger, 50,000-seater National Stadium.

Tickets to Cheung's final two shows in Singapore are priced at $388, $328, $288, $208 and $168, excluding a $4 booking fee, and will be available for purchase from 10am onwards on Friday (30 June). Tickets can be booked through Ticketmaster's hotline at 3158-8588 or on ticketmaster.sg.

They are also available at all Singpost outlets islandwide. More information can be found on UnUsUal Limited's website.

Crafting Cheung's 10th solo concert tour

Cheung's latest tour kicked off on 9 June at Cotai Arena in Macau, and is the 10th solo concert tour of his illustrious career.

Cheung spent nine months with his production team to blend ballet, orchestra and pop music into an eye-catching performance that showcases his best hits.

UnUsUaL Entertainment would like to remind fans and the general public that Ticketmaster Singapore is the only official ticketing agent for the show, and to refrain from buying tickets from unauthorised sellers or any third party websites in case of fraud.
