If there’s one thing Kylie Kelce is gonna do, it’s stand by her man — and her team.

On Wednesday’s episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce broke down his wife’s stance on her gameday attire, as eagle-eyed fans have noticed that she’s never worn Kansas City Chiefs gear to any of her brother-in-law Travis’ games — including Sunday’s Super Bowl.

“Kylie got some love from the Philadelphia fans for her continued refusal to wear Chiefs gear even though she has personal connections. She just does not want to do it,” Jason, 36, said on the podcast of his wife’s steadfast opposition to straying from the Philadelphia Eagles fandom.

While Jason was decked out in Chiefs gear on Sunday, Kylie, 31, wore a red long sleeved University of Cincinnati t-shirt (the Kelce brothers' alma mater) and an "Alright Nah" tee underneath (a nice nod to Travis).

The Philadelphia Eagles center continued of his wife, “I have tried [saying], ‘Kylie, we have family in the game, it’s okay to cheer on that team. They’re not playing the Eagles. You realize this isn’t against the Eagles right?’ She just refuses.”

“I get it man. She doesn’t seem to care about Cabrini — her college. She’ll wear the University of Cincinnati [gear],” Travis, 34, said, pointing out that his sister-in-law often wears gear from their alma mater.

“She’ll wear other universities but she won’t wear other NFL teams,” Jason  — who shares three daughters with Kylie, Bennett, 11 months, Elliotte, 2½, and Wyatt, 4 — clarified.

Travis made it clear that regardless of what Kylie’s wearing, he loves having her there to support him. “I respect it Ky. I appreciate you even wearing red. You could have worn something neutral and just showed your support. You showing up was enough for me, so I appreciate it.”

“I think she had an ‘Alright Now’ shirt underneath that or something like that,” Jason pointed out. “So she was definitely supporting Trav.”

The Chiefs tight end said Kylie “always is” supporting him. “I’m on her team.”

In the days leading up to Super Bowl LVIII — which saw the Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 — Kylie, 31, told PEOPLE about her plans for the big game, as both she and Jason were heading to Las Vegas to cheer on Travis, but leaving their girls at home.

"I think it's a little bit controversial, but even during regular season games, I don't take the girls to every game. They're still very young," she said of her decision not to bring her daughters along. "A stadium with thousands of people can be overwhelming and there's three of them. It can get hectic, it's just a lot."

"I love to do things that set them up for success. The thought of traveling cross-country with them [while] Jason's going to be super busy, and putting them in maybe a stressful environment, isn't ideal," she continued. "We think they'll be much, much happier to see Uncle Trav on the TV because it'll be easier to see him and they can cheer him on that way."

As for her focus on the day, Kylie said, "The goal of the day is to just cheer on the Chiefs and make sure that we cheer hard enough that Uncle Trav can feel the energy and he can put that right onto the field."
