Jason Kelce Thinks Travis Will Win Kids Choice Award Because He’s ‘Dating Taylor Swift’

Jason jokingly told his brother that Nickelodeon "might as well give you the award right now"

Jason Kelce thinks his brother Travis has the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Male Sports Star in the bag — all thanks to his relationship with Taylor Swift.

Travis, 34, is nominated for the award alongside his teammate Patrick Mahomes, NBA stars LeBron James and Stephen Curry and soccer greats Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but Jason, 36, told his brother he thinks it'll be a "landslide" win for the tight end.

“I mean, dude, if it’s kids [voting] you’re winning this by a f---ing landslide," Jason said on the May 12 episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

Travis asked, "You think so?"

The former Philadelphia Eagles center explained that since Travis began dating Swift, 34, the singer's loyal fanbase has embraced the Kelce family and will surely work hard to secure Travis the win, considering the winner is voted on by fans.

Jason joked that his own "demographic" of fans has shifted from "fat, hairy guys" to "14-year-old little girls" coming up to him in public since Travis and Swift began dating.

“My demographic, when I used to go outside, used to be fat, hairy guys," Jason said. "That used to be who, if I was out in public, was going to stop me and say, ‘Hey, I like you Jason Kelce.’ Football guys. Fat, hairy guys."

"Now, I go out in public, routinely, 14-year-old little girls, that is like where my bread and butter’s at, 12-to-14-year-old little girls are like, ‘Oh my God, you’re the brother of Travis, dating Taylor Swift,’ so I don’t think there’s a chance in hell that you’re not winning this award if it’s truly chosen by children," Jason explained.

The father-of-three joked, "Might as well give you the award right now."

Travis was appreciative of his brother's kind words and said he plans to "make sure I keep influencing the kids to do the right things in this world.”

Swift, meanwhile, is nominated for six awards at Nickelodeon's event on July 13 in Los Angeles, California, including Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Global Music Star.
