Taiwanese multi-hyphenate Jay Chou has recently confirmed news that wife Hannah has safely given birth to their first baby.

Rumours went around previously that the model gave birth via Caesarean section on 10 July.

Jay's manager, J.R. Yang, revealed the news shortly after, and confirmed that the couple had welcomed a healthy baby girl and that Jay was very happy with the new addition to their small family.

However, more details will be announced by the singer himself soon when he 'has calmed down'.

Jay and Hannah had been secretive about the gender of the baby since announcing the pregnancy a few months back.

The couple, who held three different wedding receptions in England, Taiwan, and Australia respectively earlier this year, revealed recently that they have actually registered their marriage as early as July last year.
