Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Hold Hands at Annual Conference Known as 'Summer Camp for Billionaires'

The couple were spotted together on July 10 at the annual Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference in Sun Valley, Idaho

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are spending time together in Sun Valley, Idaho.

The Amazon founder, 60, and award-winning journalist, 54, were spotted together on Wednesday, July 10, while attending the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference — a private retreat often referred to as “summer camp for billionaires,” per CNN and Business Insider.

Hosted by investment bank Allen & Company, the secretive, weeklong event draws the rich and powerful from every sector, from media and tech to politics.

The engaged couple were all smiles as they walked hand-in-hand at the Idaho event together.

For her Sun Valley ensemble, Sánchez wore a cream-colored skirt and matching cardigan, which she paired with white sneakers, a pink handbag and a pair of sunnies. Bezos, meanwhile, rocked a pair of trousers, a black T-shirt and vest, as well as sunglasses and sneakers.

According to Business Insider, the Allen & Company-hosted retreat began on Tuesday, July 9, and lasts through July 13. It has been held since the 1980s, and is believed to be where Bezos decided to buy the Washington Post.

Outside of the power couple, this year’s attendees also include Disney CEO Bob Iger, Mark Zuckerberg and Oprah Winfrey, CNN reported.

Bezos and Sánchez’s Idaho outing is not uncharacteristic for the globe-trotting couple, who recently spent time in Italy for a Dolce & Gabbana show, as well as Greece for a romantic getaway.

News of the pair’s engagement last year also came as they were traveling. The two were spotted on vacation together in the South of France — on the billionaire's $500 million yacht — in May 2023 when Sánchez was first spotted with a ring on her finger.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the couple is “really in love and happy which makes everyone who knows them happy.”

"They have been talking about it for a long time," the insider added. "She found the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with and they felt the time was right.”

The couple has not shared any details about their wedding, but Sánchez did reveal to Vogue last November that she plans to take Bezos' name once they're married.

"Uh, yes, 100 percent. I am looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos," she told the magazine.
