Jennie Makes Her Runway Debut for Jacquemus

Blackpink's Jennie Kim has built an impressive fashion resume that rivals that of top models. (Seriously, the girlies better be thankful she's not doing this full-time, or else some of our favs would find themselves out of work.) All that was missing was a runway credit — until today.
On Monday, Kim (also credited as Jennie Ruby Jane) closed out Jacquemus' 15th anniversary "La Casa" show in Capri. She donned a chic halter-neck black midi dress with an open back, styled with stacked zebra-print kitten heels and a bright blue clutch. Her appearance among the lineup was a welcomed surprise, but her presence was to be expected: Hours ahead of the show, the brand posted a carousel of images on Instagram showing Kim and teasers of some of the garments.
She and Simon Porte Jacquemus have built quite a friendship over the years. In 2022, Kim attended the brand's "Le Splash" show in Hawaii; months later, she sat front row at its "Le Raphia" runway in Le Bourget. (In the case of the latter, she showed up despite having a concert in Paris that same night — if that's not friendship goals, I don't know what is.) Most recently, the singer fronted Jacquemus' "Guirlande" holiday campaign, alongside some adorable pups.
Now that she has an impressive runway walk under her belt, who knows what can come next?
