Jennifer Hudson Shines in Bedazzled Pumps at the Daytime Emmys 2024 in Los Angeles

Jennifer Hudson was ultra glamorous while in attendance at the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles on Friday. The event aired live on CBS Television Network and was available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. The songstress was nominated for “Outstanding Daytime Talk Series,” however, the win ultimately went to fellow singer and talk show host Kelly Clarkson.
Gracing the red carpet, Hudson sported black a silver pumps. The style was trimmed with gold accents and featured black uppers broken up with a thick stripe of rhinestone detailing that traveled down the facade of the shoe. Although the back of her heels was not visible beneath the hem of her dress, it is likely Hudson’s shoes featured 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels, a common facet of pumps.
Accompanying her dazzling footwear, the “Dreamgirls” actress donned a floral Marchesa gown. The blooming style featured a sparkling sequined floral print in a variety of shades, set atop a black background so the florals could pop. The dress featured a strappy plunging bodice and a form-fit.
When it comes to footwear, Hudson favors statement-making strappy sandals and pointed-toe pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti, Sophia Webster and Jimmy Choo on the red carpet and at other formal events. However, she also wears footwear by emerging designers as well, like Titi Adesa. Earlier this year, she wore black sandals with a leather bow strap across the toe and included a circle rhinestone embellishment and a thin stiletto heel for her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles on Friday, June 8. The show, which celebrates excellence in the television industry, featured a slew of high-profile attendees including Jennifer Hudson, Kelly, Clarkson, Dick Van Dyke, Scott Evans, Zooey Deschanel and Tamron Hall, just to name a few.
