In 1904, Ernest Chausseur established the fashion house steps away from the famous Moulin Rouge. Its heritage stems back to creating footwear for the dancers in Parisian cabaret clubs. Through the 1900s, the designer established himself in the industry through collaborations with top labels like Jean-Paul Gaultier, who aided Chausseur in creating the iconic “Go” pump. Through its innovative designs, including the heel jewels, Maison Ernest has become a well-known brand within the luxury footwear market.
