Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Have Glam Date Night as They Host Las Vegas Poker Tournament
The couple's event kicks off F1 Grand Prix weekend
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are proving to be the most stylish party hosts.
Friday night, the stars hosted a Las Vegas Poker Tournament to raise money for Affleck’s non-profit Eastern Congo Initiative, which he founded in 2009. The fundraiser marks the start of Formula 1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend.
On the red carpet at Lavo at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Lopez, 54, and Affleck, 51, made a striking pair as they posed together in their outfits for the night.
The actress and singer dazzled in a striking cutaway gown from U.K. designer, David Koma. The one-shouldered dress, which featured panels of black and jewelled fabric, had a connected choker detail and thigh-high split and was teamed with statement silver earrings and a chic black purse. Lopez wore her hair in loose waves, parted at the middle.
Affleck, meanwhile, opted for a three-piece suit in a bold shade of blue, worn with a white shirt open at the top and smart black shoes.
Speaking to PEOPLE about his non-profit in 2017, the Argo actor and director said doing work with the ECI — which funds Congolese-led organizations in support of causes including women’s empowerment and economic development — was “one of the greatest, most awe-inspiring experiences of my life thus far.”
The event was a star-studded affair, with the hosting couple joined by a host of A-listers. Guest including Jon Hamm and wife Anna Osceola, Jimmy Kimmel, Colton Underwood, James Marsden, Lukas Haas, Tobey Maguire and Cara Delevingne sipped on cocktails from tequila brand Casamigos as they played blackjack and poker.
Hamm and Osceola — who married in Big Sur, California, in June 2023 — also had a date night at the Friday event.
Photographed with a big smile on the red carpet, the actor looked dapper in a dark blue suit and black loafers, while his actress wife wore a mini-dress in bold red, teamed with a pair of multi-colored slingback heels.

On her Instagram, Lopez shared a closer look at her outfit in a post that included two shots of the striking gown.
The simple post didn't include a caption, but the Shotgun Wedding actress received a slew of comments praising her elegant look from fans.
"Oh OK Mrs Affleck, I see you 😏😏🔥," one wrote, while another said, "GORGEOUS QUEEN!! Leaving half the fandom breathless 😮💨❤️🔥."
Lopez and Affleck celebrated their first wedding anniversary in August, over two decades after the stars initially went public with their romance in 2002. Since then, Lopez and Affleck got engaged, broke up, started families separately and ultimately reunited in 2021.

Earlier this month, Lopez opened up about Affleck in an interview with Vogue. “I feel even more relaxed and comfortable, which makes me feel even more beautiful than I have ever felt with someone else," she told the outlet.
Affleck gushed about the Shotgun Wedding actress in April, saying Lopez is “the most gorgeous woman in the world, she looks spectacular."
Lopez touted her relationship as proof “true love does exist” during an interview with Zane Lowe.
"Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life,” she told Lowe. “I honestly felt like I was going to die. It sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn't get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most would-never-happen-in-Hollywood ending."
