There's nothing but love between two of the most famous Jodies in Hollywood, Jodie Foster and Jodie Comer.

Comer, 30, appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Friday and revealed the kind message that Foster, 61, sent her when the Silence of the Lambs star went to see Comer appear in her Broadway debut as Tessa Ensler in Suzie Miller's play Prima Facie.

"Jodie Foster came ... I remember I came off stage and she'd ripped out a page from the Playbill and she'd wrote a little note, a beautiful little note on the bottom," Comer shared while she and fellow guest Alan Cumming were talking about the differences between performing theater in New York City and in London.

The Killing Eve star didn't share everything the note said, but the way Foster signed the note was a sweet message of encouragement in itself.

"She signed it, 'From the other Jodie,'" Comer said. "I was like, 'No, I'm the other Jodie,'" Comer recalled, laughing.

Comer performed in Prima Facie on London's West End in 2022 before the play moved to Broadway in the spring of 2023.

On the British talk show, Comer and Cumming were reflecting on the differences between performing for British audiences versus American ones.

"On Broadway, they clap before you start the play," Comer said, admitting that while it's kind, the enthusiasm presents a challenge for actors who must then rush to get their lines in on time.
