Joe Alwyn Is Reportedly "Dating and Happy" a Year After His Split From Taylor Swift

A source says he's "moved on" from the pop star.

It's already been a year since Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn broke up—and while Swift is in a very public relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, not much is known about Alwyn's dating life. But rest assured, he's doing just fine. 

According to a source at People, the actor is "dating and happy." They continued, "He’s a great guy and not into drama in any way.” The insider then revealed that Alwyn has "moved on" from his relationship with Swift and "certainly doesn't talk poorly about her," adding: "He was in love with her, and it just didn’t work out.”  

As for his career, the source said, "Joe loves acting, but can’t stand the attention that comes with it. He’s not comfortable in the spotlight.”

His unease with fame is reportedly part of the reason why he and Swift didn't work out. “Fame factored into their split. Joe is very shy and never liked all of the attention that came with dating one of the most popular singers in the world,” an insider previously shared with Us Weekly, noting that he never "blamed" the pop star for the media interest in their relationship but that “he just didn’t like having to be on all of the time."

Since their split, Alwyn seemingly hasn't had a serious relationship, but there was speculation that he was dating his Brutalist costar Emma Laird last year after she posted a solo snap of him on scooter in an Instagram dump—however, nothing ever came of the rumors.
