Joey King is recalling the trials and tribulations she faced during a recent meal.

The 24-year-old actress revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live that during a filming break for her new series, We Were the Lucky Ones, she decided to relax by jetting off to Barcelona with her husband Steven Piet, 32, and they decided to place a reservation for a place considered to be “one of the best restaurants in the world.”

“So we go there, and we’re just so pumped. And we get there; It’s 28 courses,” King recalled. “I just want to repeat myself. It’s 28 courses.”

“Even for me that’s pushing it,” host Jimmy Kimmel joked. “That’s too, too many for me.”

King admitted, “It was a lot." She went on to say that she noticed all the chefs in the kitchen did not speak to each other while they were preparing the food, but “every single dish came out looking like it was an absolute work of art.”

“They kept bringing out food that looked like one food but tasted like another food,” she explained. “Like they brought out this thing that looked like grapes on a vine and then we plucked one off and popped it in our mouth… And I looked at the waiter, I was like, ‘Shrimp cocktail?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah.’ ”

“So then we wrap up this meal and we’re so full,” the actress continued. “I mean to be honest with you I was full [by] course 17, but the chef is standing there and his arms are crossed.”

The Kissing Booth star said she and her husband opted to return to the hotel to change their shoes before heading out again to “explore Barcelona,” when she began to feel unwell.

“I’m like, ‘Woah…’ you know what I mean?” She told the audience. “And then I realized, ‘Oh God, I think I’m going to experience all 28 courses again.’ I just want to say, I don’t want to get graphic, but I spent way more time with the toilet than with my husband [on] that trip.”

“Did he get sick too?,” Kimmel asked her, to which she teasingly responded, “No, the lucky son of a b----.”

She shared that she was “glad” that only one of them got sick, but it had been a tough time for her. She even recalled snapping at Piet.

“You know when you’re that sick and you’re just like, every noise [and] every smell is so irritating. So I am in the thick of it. I am dying and then from the other room, I just hear the Seinfeld theme song [on the TV]. So I come out guns [blazing]. I’m like ‘Will you turn that off?’ “ She yelled, recreating the moment for the audience.
