Joy Behar tells Matt Rogers to 'shut up' after he says he saw her barefoot on plane

'Don't tell people that,' the 81-year-old said after Rogers 'outed' her for riding on an airplane without shoes.

Months after calling that Italian woman a bitch on a train during her European vacation, The View cohost Joy Behar's travel-based jabs have taken off from land into the sky.

Comedian Matt Rogers stopped by the show on Wednesday to share a sweet memory of his encounter with The View ladies on a plane in 2022, after Sunny Hostin brought up the fact that Rogers and his Las Culturistas podcast partner Bowen Yang were on the same flight out of the Bahamas following the talk show's filming of their annual summer destination episodes.

"That was really fun. I will say, Bowen and I were sitting in the second row of the plane, you guys were in the first row, you were barefoot on that plane," Rogers said, turning to Behar, who told him to "shut up" before scolding, "Don't tell people that."

The camera cut to panelist Sara Haines with her mouth fully open in shock over Rogers' recollection.

The interview went on, though it circled back to the moment after Rogers — a devout Kelly Clarkson fan — recounted visiting The View as an audience member in September 2018, when he says he got jealous that the Hot Topics table decided to interview a different person about their undying love for the American Idol winner. He said he later ran into the subject at Clarkson's Las Vegas residency show, after comically trashing him on Las Culturistas, and that they eventually made up.

"Now, we're all friends," Haines said.

"Not me, now that you outed me," Behar later added.

Rogers asked, "No? You're mad at me?" and Behar chuckled before he continued. "You weren't hiding it, Joy. Your feet were up and out. They were beautiful feet, they were absolutely stunning."

Rogers isn't the only celebrity who had a brush with Behar's feet over the last year. Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey gave Behar a foot massage live on the air in September, while Mario Lopez touched his sole to Behar's atop the table in November.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
