The Jungle Comedy Lock-In, a special one-night-only event, is taking place this weekend at Leicester Square 's Arts Theatre.

The new 75-minute-long show begins shortly after The Choir Of Man’s Saturday’s performance, taking place on the musical’s stage and set – meaning that revellers can simply stay in the theatre for an evening of extended fun (though a separate ticket is required).

It will be hosted by comedian-actor Lee Peart and will star Live at The Apollo comedians Esther Manito and Tom Ward. They will be joined by comedian Aurie Styla, who is currently touring the UK.

“I’m all about elevating stand-up comedy to the artistic recognition it deserves, beyond the confines of sticky floors and impersonal arenas,” said producer Jay Pond-Jones. “I'm really excited that The Arts Theatre and The Choir Of Man share that vision.”

Olivier award-nominated The Choir of Man is a musical set in a pub where nine men sing and dance to hits from artists including Guns’N’Roses, Adele, Avicii and Paul Simon. “It contains moments of unmistakable power, such as the rousing, a cappella spin on Sia’s Chandelier,” said one critic.

Adding another exciting element to the evening, the bar of the stage pub will be open, meaning that guests will be able to go onto the stage in between the two shows and have a beer.

Choir of Man’s producer Brian Hook said: "The Choir of Man is a show about community, togetherness, and fun – and there's no better place for a comedy lock-in than our pub: The Jungle. We're delighted to welcome new artists to our family and have more ways for audiences to connect with us!"
