Just Stop Oil protesters paint grade I-listed Wellington Arch orange

Just Stop Oil protesters painted London’s grade I-listed Wellington Arch orange on Wednesday 25 October.

Footage shows three people spraying bright paint on the triumphal arch, which has stood at the top of the Constitution Hill road since 1882.

Two of the activists then hold orange smoke flares as they stand in front of the structure.

“This morning, three Just Stop Oil supporters have painted the grade I-listed Wellington Arch orange to demand the UK government end new oil and gas,” a statement from the group, shared on social media, read.
