Kady McDermott's savage dig at Scott van-der-Sluis' Love Island USA appearance

In news we definitely weren't expecting today, Love Islander Scott van-der-Sluis has shocked everyone by being the latest bombshell to enter Love Island USA. Um hasn't he just left the Mallorcan villa?

Scott entered the Love Island USA villa yesterday evening (18th August), with the official Love Island USA Twitter account sharing a teaser of his appearance: "From one Villa to another! Tonight former UK Islander Scott is dropping in for a surprise date! #LoveIslandUSA."

Viewers saw Scott enter the villa as a bombshell for the second time this summer and go on a date with Islander Kassy Castillo. Kassy receives a text asking her to meet a mystery date out in the garden and when she arrives she's stunned to find out it's actually Scott from Love Island UK.

Kassy wasn't the only surprised one, with many viewers, including Scott's fellow UK Islanders, sharing their reactions to Scott entering the villa again.

In a since deleted Instagram Story video, Kady McDermott addressed Scott's new TV show appearance after being asked by a fan what she thought of his appearance, they said: "Scott's on Love Island USA [right now] and everyone gave you stick for saying he's a game player damn."

Kady responded to the follower's remark with a savage response saying: "I wasn't going to comment on this but I'm probably getting thousands of messages on this. Scott actually messaged me the other day and was like, 'Kady, I'm doing a you.' I was like, 'Elaborate, what do you mean you're doing a me?' And obviously said he's going on Love Island USA.

"Best of luck to him and I said that to him. You've got to do, what you've got to do but, people say and think what they want about me but one thing is that I never lie. I never lie." Savage.

Kady isn't the only member of the Love Island UK 2023 to comment on Scott going into the USA villa, with series winner Sammy Root also sharing his thoughts.

During a TikTok live Sammy was asked what he thought of Scott going on the show and Sammy said: "What do I think of Scott in Love Island USA? You've got to rate it. He's working hard."

And Casa Amor arrival Gabby Jeffery also addressed Scott going on the show during a TikTok live saying she thought they [Love Island USA producers] asked Scott to do the show and then joked that he's now 'Messy Scott' and may come out of the show with a 'wifey'.

Thankfully, we won't just have to rely on TikTok clips of Love Island USA to see if Scott comes out of the series coupled up, as Love Island USA season five is available to watch on ITVX now.
