Kate Middleton attended the Trooping the Colour 2024 parade in London on Saturday, marking her first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis in March.
The Princess of Wales rode in a carriage with Prince William and Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
For the occasion, the princess sported stark white leather pumps from Jimmy Choo. The style featured triangular pointed toes and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels. Middleton’s footwear choices often also feature suede detailing. In addition to Choo, she wears brands from Gianvito Rossi and Emmy London, among others.
Middleton wore a classic black-and-white ensemble for the occasion — a white Jenny Packham dress with a black and white striped bow attached to the collar. A matching Philip Treacy hat was fixed to her head overtop a sleek updo.
Keeping with the matching color scheme, Middleton toted a black suede rectangular clutch from Mulberry. Rounding out the look, the royal sported a golden Irish Guards Regimental brooch fastened to her dress, accompanied by Cassandra Goad earrings.
The Princess of Wales said in an emotional Instagram post on Friday that she had been “blown away” the messages of support and encouragement she has received since revealing her diagnosis in March.
Trooping the Colour is a ceremonial parade celebrating the official birthday of the British Monarch. The annual event and is also known as the Sovereign’s Birthday Parade. The parade features 1400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians in a great display of military precision. The event can be linked all the way back to 1748.
