Kate Middleton Supported by Family at Christmas Concert — See Who Came!

Both sides of Princess Kate's family were in the audience at Westminster Abbey

Kate Middleton had plenty of support as she hosted her third annual Christmas carol concert.

The Princess of Wales, 41, stepped out at Westminster Abbey on Friday for her new holiday tradition of the Together At Christmas carol concert. Princess Kate's event is in its third year after starting in 2021.

As in years past, Princess Kate was surrounded by support from both sides of her family at the event. Her parents Carole and Michael Middleton were in attendance, as was her sister Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews.

Many members of the royal family also stepped out for the festive event. Princess Beatrice smiled as she arrived with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and held hands with Christopher Woolf, Edo’s 7-year-old son who officially made his Together At Christmas concert debut.

Meanwhile, Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie stepped out solo, while their cousins Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips entered together.

Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh smiled as she made her way into Westminster Abbey in layered winter white like Princess Kate.

In addition to her husband, Prince William, Kate was joined by all three of their children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. While George, 10, and Charlotte, 8, attended the event last year, 5-year-old Louis joined his parents and siblings for the first time this year.

In a sweet gesture, the Wales siblings walked over to a red mailbox outside Westminster Abbey and placed envelopes inside. In a new feature this year, children who attended the event were invited to send handmade Christmas cards and best wishes to other children who might be struggling this year.

This year's event — featuring performances by Westminster Abbey's choir, Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings and James Bay — is linked to Princess Kate’s Shaping Us campaign, which focuses on her mission to support children during the early years of their lives.

The palace said the event was organized to “thank all those who work to support babies, young children and families in our communities across the U.K. and a celebration of the golden opportunity that the birth of a new baby brings."

Like last year, Prince William is set to give a reading during the service, along with additional readings from Micheal Ward, Emma Willis, Roman Kemp and Jim Broadbent. A specially commissioned poem written by Joseph Coelho, the Children’s Laureate, will be delivered by Leonie Elliott.

The event will be broadcast as part of Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, airing on ITV1 and ITV X on Christmas Eve. The television broadcast will feature additional content including an introduction from Princess Kate, films that highlight the importance of early childhood and celebrations of the contributions people in our communities are making to support the very youngest members of our society during those crucial early years.

The Princess of Wales shared a special message about the concert in a pre-recorded promo that aired on ITV1 in the U.K on Thursday evening, encouraging viewers to tune in on the night before Christmas.

"Join me this Christmas Eve for a special carol service as we say a heartfelt thank you to all those supporting the very youngest members of our society during those crucial early years,” Princess Kate said with a smile in the spot filmed before a Christmas tree and candles.
