As the calendar flips over to a new month, expect sunny skies and warm temperatures this weekend in our area.
There's a night market at various locations in The Ward neighbourhood of Guelph Friday night.
The Stanley Park neighbourhood extravaganza is Saturday with a barbecue, corn hole tournament and a market with local artists.
The Cambridge Kin Carnival is on all weekend in Riverside Park with games and rides.
There's also pop-up performances by local artists Friday night at the Hespeler Farmers' Market and at the Cambridge Farmers' Market on Saturday in the lead up to the annual Cambridge Celebration of the Arts, which will take place June 14.
There's the Happy Trails and Sidewalk Sales event in Belmont Village Saturday which includes free bicycle tune-ups, live music, food trucks and children's activities.

Summerfest
Saturday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Victoria Park, Kitchener
There will be so much happening in the park, from entertainment to vendors, drag artistry and displays from local organizations. This event kicks off tri-Pride celebrations in the region.
Bonus: Stratford-Perth Pride Festival
Sunday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Tom Patterson Theatre, Stratford
It's Pride Month and that means lots of celebrations. There will be a march beginning at 1 p.m. followed by Pride in the Park at the Upper Queens Park. There will be live music, vendors, food trucks, a kids zone and CirqueSmith.
K-W Film Fest
Friday, Saturday and Sunday with showings at 2 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Princess Cinemas, Waterloo
The festival will feature two feature-length films and 32 short films over the course of the weekend.
It includes local films, such as Dwight Storring's Finding John Lingwood and Kris Langford's Coffee.
Robin In The Hood Medieval Festival
Friday 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Gibson Park, Elmira
Step into 12th century Nottingham, England, for this festival that includes knights, jesters, musicians and many medieval activities.
This family-friendly event will also include a vendors village and different displays and performances as well as an archery tournament and a bard battle.
Writers Market
Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Homer Watson House and Gallery, Kitchener
There will be writers and readers at this event, which includes a surprise book sale and various authors including Wanda Janaway, Sandra Wilson, Mark Leslie Lefebvre, Jody Swannell, Kimia Eslah and Dianne Scott, among others.
Because of bad weather last weekend, the gallery is also hosting its mini clothesline art sale during this event.
Guelph Potters Market
Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Royal City Park, Guelph
More than 50 local potters will have their items on display in the park. This free market takes place rain or shine, so dress for the weather.
