Kathryn Bernardo thankful for PMPC's Actress of the Year award

4 Jun – Kathryn Bernardo is happy and grateful to be winning Actress of the Year accolade at the recently held 35th PMPC Star Awards, even if she is sharing the glory with fellow actress Sarah Geronimo.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who won for her role in the KathNiel movie, "The Hows of Us", stated that she has learned a lot from doing the movie last year.

"Maybe the best I've learned while making this film and what the universe taught me, is that life is not perfect. It does not always go the way we want it to be. This award, this is a validation that true dedication really does pay off," she said.

Bernardo also stressed that it is okay to feel down sometimes, and to get tired in the process of achieving one's dream.

"It's okay to fail even, because it's all part of our journey. What's important is you stand up and you try again until you make that dream a reality," she added.
