Katy Perry's All-Denim Outfit Had So Many Huge Metal Grommets

Just a day after she shut down the runway at Vogue World: Paris wearing a dress that may have been more cutouts than actual dress, Katy Perry stopped fashion fans in their tracks once again at the premiere of the new documentary, Diane von Furstenberg: Woman In Charge. While she didn't honor the woman of the hour in a wrap dress (one of DVF's most popular designs), she opted for a faded denim set from Artemisi that combined a lace-up corset top, spiky and slouchy jean jacket, and a long-rise, floor-skimming skirt that was embellished with huge metal grommets.

Perry wore the jacket off her shoulders, which gave her denim top a chance to shine, and while the skirt may have just looked like a standard-issue Y2K-inspired piece, a closer look revealed that between the larger-than-life holes, there were metal rings that made it look like the skirt had piercings all over.

Perry finished the look with white, pointy-toed pumps that also had a metal ring detail, and wore her signature dark brown hair parted in the middle with the long loose waves.

Perry is currently in Paris to attend the haute couture shows and perhaps soak up the sights and sounds of the City of Light before she drops her highly anticipated sixth studio album. Ahead of her Parisian getaway, she teased her new single, "Woman's World," on social media and has already come under fire for working with producer Dr. Luke.

Fellow pop superstar Kesha accused the producer of sexual assault and after a lengthy legal battle, both parties settled outside of court and the public still doesn't know what the stipulations of the agreement were. For her part, Perry hasn't addressed the controversy. Fans will remember that she enlisted him for some of her biggest hits, including "I Kissed a Girl," "Hot n Cold," "Teenage Dream," and "California Gurls." "Woman's World" is set to arrive on July 11, and Perry's upcoming album—she hasn't shared the title—doesn't have a release date yet.
