Kean Cipriano’s take on Alex Gonzaga and the present woman in his life

Kean Cipriano and Eunice Jorge as seen on the poster of their concert, Happy Together.

It was way past daylight when Kean Cipriano walked the red carpet in a Mandaluyong mall sporting a coat and tie paired with casual jeans and Ray Bans.

The Callalily vocalist might just be hiding his eye bags during the premiere night of his suspense thriller “Tumbang Preso,” a Cinema Evaluation Board-Graded A movie, but it’s really become his signature rock star look.

What wasn’t hidden, however, was his meaningful smile as he went around the cocktail area with his date, Eunice Jorge from the band Gracenote.

Cheesy but adorbs

“We’re having the time of our lives playing music together, doing good music together I hope. And this is not too cheesy, but that girl, that beautiful lady Eunice, is just really adorable,” he told Yahoo Philippines.

Which may leave their fans wondering: are they or aren’t they?

Kean admitted that they’re not officially a couple YET, just two musicians playing sweet music together.

"We hang out a lot, more often now than before because we’re doing this project, this ‘Happy Together: A Trip Down Memory Lane’ album and we’re having a concert on the 16th (of October) at the Music Museum.”

‘The one that got away’

While he gamely answered questions pertaining to Eunice, Kean kept mum on anything that had to do with Alex Gonzaga, also known as “the one that got away."

TV host Kris Aquino put Kean on the spot her nightly talk show "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" a few weeks ago—prompting him to admit that Alex was "the one that got away."

The rock star, however, maintained his silence and played the gentleman as he was with his date.

Mum

"I don’t wanna talk about it,” he said. "Really I don’t wanna get into those kind of topics kasi I don’t think it’s just really nice to talk about other people. I respect other people that I’ve been with."

In case you forgot, the two were said to have been a couple back in their TV5 days. Kean and Alex starred in several Kapatid shows including “BFGF,” “P.S. I Love You” and “Hey It’s Saberdey.”

Meanwhile, Alex remains single and has taken a different route in dealing with breakups.

‘What went wrong’

The Kapamilya star recently launched a book she authored teaching young girls how to move on from heartbreak.

"I just want to impart the wisdom I got sa process ng aking paghi-heal ng puso ko, why I’m still single and what went wrong,” she told PEP.ph.
