Keke Palmer Says She's 'Never Been So Happy' on Beach Vacation in Wake of Abuse Allegations with Ex Darius Jackson

The actress and podcast host, 30, expressed her gratitude for life as of late in an Instagram post Wednesday, which featured a sunny video of her bonding with a stingray.
"I have never been so happy in my life!!" Palmer wrote in her caption. "Already 2024 has started off on the vibes I was looking for, more experiences and more enjoying what this beautiful world has to offer."
"Look at my smile! I don’t even recognize me! I made a second connection with this girl here, I’m on clouuuuuud nine!" the Nope actress continued, referring to the expression on her face as she holds the stingray in the water.

Palmer's post comes amid legal battles with her ex Darius Jackson.
In November 2023, Palmer was awarded a temporary restraining order against Jackson. According to documents reviewed by PEOPLE, the actress filed on the grounds of domestic violence. At the time, Palmer was also temporarily granted sole custody of Leodis "Leo" Adrellton, the pair's 10-month-old son.
The next month, Jackson filed a response to her request for a domestic violence restraining order against him. In his filing, Jackson alleged that during their relationship, Palmer was abusive towards him.

Also in December, Palmer shared a video to her Instagram showing her holding baby Leo, alongside a caption seemingly addressing how she feels outside observers may view her recent legal filings against Jackson, 29.
"When reality tv makes everyone believe all celebrities lives are just one big marketing strategy and scheme but my life is truly unraveling at the seams and I just wear trauma like a [Dolce & Gabbana] coat because Sharon didn't raise no b****," the actress wrote on the video itself.

Keke Palmer; Darius JacksonDespite her legal woes, Palmer appeared to be making the most of the recent holiday season, including a sweet Christmas photoshoot with baby Leo.
The pictures showed the mother of one decked out in an evening dress and her little guy in a button down with a festive bowtie and hat.
"Happy Holidays! From my family, to yours 🫶🏾," Palmer captioned the shots on Instagram, adding, "He wouldn’t let me tuck his shirt in. And whatever he says goes 🙄🥹."
