Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are celebrating their wedding anniversary with a sweet tribute.

On Wednesday, Ripa shared a recreation of their Las Vegas wedding photos from nearly 28 years ago — and showed off one of their photos from the big day.

“Viva Las Vegas ✨ Then ➡️ Now,” Ripa wrote on Instagram, alongside the two photos. The first shows the then-25-year-olds grinning at each other inside the Nevada Chapel of The Bells.

The second photo — taken in the same famous wedding chapel — shows them clutching each other as Ripa sports a satin blue-green dress and Consuelos wears a traditional black suit.

Ripa, 53, and Consuelos, 52, first met in 1995, when they filmed a chemistry test for All My Children together. Consuelos was hired to play Ripa's love interest on the daytime drama and their relationship turned romantic soon after.

After less than a year of dating, they eloped in Las Vegas in 1996, and have since welcomed three children together — Michael, 26, Lola, 22, and Joaquin, 21.

"It was really romantic, though. It was very sweet," Ripa told PEOPLE about their wedding last week. "We cherish those memories, still to this day. It's been 28 years and we still can remember every minute of that wedding. And I mean, it was really minutes. It was like two minutes!"

The pair also reflected on their impromptu wedding on Wednesday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.

"Some of those feelings came back as I drove up. I started getting sweaty," Consuelos said, as the pair prepared to officiate another couple’s wedding as a part of their visit.

The pair also reflected on how their relationship has changed since 1996, and noted that some of their own kids are now older than they were when they tied the knot.

“We were 25-year-olds. Our son [Michael] is 26,” he pointed out. “It doesn’t make any sense. In a city where people roll the dice every day here, this is one of the safest bets I’ve made.”
