Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Reunite with Their “All My Children ”Baby — Who Was a Stand-in for Her Twin Brother

Hayley and Mateo's baby boy, Enzo, is all grown up — and, spoiler alert: the infant was actually played by a girl

It's an All My Children family reunion!

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who met and starred on the long-running soap opera together in the '90s, reunited with their long-lost TV child, Enzo, on the June 17 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.

“Mark and I had a baby on all my children, baby Enzo. And we’ve often wondered: what ever happened to baby Enzo? Where is baby Enzo?" Ripa, 53, said to the audience. "And baby Enzo is in our audience today."

The camera then panned to a young woman sitting in the audience holding up a printed out photo of herself as a baby with Ripa on set of the soap opera. She revealed that while she played Kelly and Mark's baby boy on the show, it was only because her twin brother wasn’t able to step in as he "didn’t have enough hair" at the time.

“Hollywood is a cruel place,” Ripa joked, before her husband jumped in to ask, "How’s his hair now?"

Her brother "has a lot of hair now," the woman said, and he's "a little jealous"

Ripa and Consuelos, 53, then began asking questions about the woman's life today, and she revealed that she turns 23 next month – lining her up with the couple's daughter, Lola.

"I’m actually thee days younger than your daughter so I guess on the set, my mom held Lola and you held me," she said.

"I’m so happy to see you. Are you still acting?" Ripa asked.

"No – I mean, this is my big break now, I guess," she joked, to which Ripa agreed, saying, "Yes! We discover people here."

Consuelos then asked where she lives and what she's doing now, before telling her, "It's so good to see you."

"I’m happy to be here, it’s good to reunite," she said.

Ripa and Consuelos' characters on All My Children, Hayley and Mateo, welcomed their son, Lorenzo, on the show in August 2001. At the time, they were parents themselves to then 4-year-old Michael and newborn Lola, and by 2002, they'd exited the show. The couple later went on to welcome another son, Joaquin.

The longtime Live host called the role a "happy accident," telling PEOPLE in 2020, "It changed my life. It changed my entire life – not just my acting life, but changed the whole trajectory of my life."
