Kesha brought forth a daring look in a sheer top and pumps while arriving at the Posse Pride Party at The Viper Room in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The pumps were constructed with suede in the upper and leather in the bottom. The toe box was cut in a sharp triangle for a pointed-toe look and featured a strappy design that extended into her thigh. The singer teamed her cutting-edge shoes with a leather skirt, a sheer top and black sunglasses as the finishing touch.
While the pointed-pump style has experienced some updates over the decades, the shoes are considered a classic model that blends together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion, with the silhouette being praised for its versatility and ease of styling. Regarded as a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions, many celebrities have been spotted wearing them in recent months including Selena Gomez, Saweetie and others.
Kesha herself has worn the style on a variety of occasions. This past September, she attended Christian Siriano‘s spring 2024 runway show in New York in a shiny and sharp pair of black leather pointed-toe shoes with angular knife-like pointed toes and a glossy vinyl patent leather finish. When not in Pumps, the singer prefers footwear styles that are reflective of grunge themes, such as the sandals she donned at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022 while promoting her new show, “Conjuring Kesha.”
For the event, she wore a pair of strappy sandals that were constructed with suede and featured crossed toe straps atop pointed soles and a stiletto heel that totaled between 3 to 4 inches in height. The silhouette was completed with round silver buckles, smoothly matching the tone of her jewelry and corset’s row of eyelets.
The “Die Young” singer also likes mules in her footwear closet, such as the pair she sported outside of NBC studios in New York in June 2022. Those sandals featured a sharp pointed toe at the sole, a thick strap that ran across her footbed and a thin stiletto heel.
