Kevin Bacon Shares Funny Photo with Daughter Sosie and Son Travis from “Hollow Man” Set: 'When Dad Is an Actor'

Kevin Bacon took a trip down memory lane on Thursday.
The 65-year-old actor, known for his role in Hollow Man, shared a throwback Thursday post on Instagram, featuring a snapshot from his son Travis' 10th birthday celebration.
In the photo, Bacon wore his Hollow Man costume, which included a blue pantsuit, a white tank top, a bald cap and green eye makeup. In front of him, his son, now 34, and daughter, Sosie, 32, smiled with their hands raised in the air, standing behind a chocolate cake.
"This is what happens when dad is an actor and you have your tenth birthday on set. #TBT #HollowMan," Bacon captioned the post.

Bacon shares his two kids with the actress Kyra Sedgwick, 58, whom he's been married to since 1988.
Both of their children have also pursued careers in the entertainment industry. Travis has worked as a musician, producer, and composer and is currently the frontman of the industrial metal band CONTRACULT Collective.
Sosie has worked as an actress, starring in HBO's Mare of Easttown, Narcos: Mexico, Netflix's 13 Reasons Why, and Here and Now.
In 2013, Bacon opened up to Vulture about his parenting style, sharing, "When I go home, I try to raise my children with honesty and integrity and teach them to take care of the world and of each other."

In November 2023, Bacon chatted with PEOPLE about his kids, sharing how he and his wife passed on their love for cooking to them.
"We really switch off. We love to cook and we love to eat. Cooking and eating together is something that we've always done as a family," Bacon told PEOPLE.
"Both of my kids are now... We never gave them lessons. We never sat down and said, 'Okay, this is how you cook.' But just in the course of life, they've ended up making great, great dishes, and they both really enjoy it," the proud dad shared.
